VETERINARY CARE PROVIDED FOR DOGS & PUPPIES
It is the goal of this humane society to offer all animals an opportunity for adoption including those infected with disease and the elderly. Appropriate precautions will be made, per the advice and recommendations of veterinarians when disease or illness is present.
All dogs and puppies will receive all necessary medical care and treatment upon entry of the admissions system (age permitting):
- Health examination by a licensed veterinarian
- Flea treatment and/or prevention
- Fecal test and worming for parasites
- Heartworm blood test & prevention
- Distemper combination inoculation(s)
- Bordetella inoculation(s) (Canine Cough)
- Rabies inoculation
- Teeth cleaning when as necessary
- Sterilization
- Microchipping
- Bath & nail trim, and
- Any medical care or treatment warranted
